World Series of Poker Robots (WSOPR), also known as the World Poker Robot Championship is among the first exibition matches between humans and pokerbots. It is the precursor of even more popular events like Man vs Machine Poker Championship.

The WSOPR have been held July 12-15, 2005. There appears to have been 6 bot contestants; and the winner was Hilton Givens with his bot PokerProbot, who additionally beat Poker Academy bot poki.

After the pure robot competition, Phil Laak also played against the winning robot (He won with aces over kings), as well as against poki, and won both matches.
